The assignment was to redo an existing brand. Common Grounds Cafe and Eatery is a chain of independently owned coffee shops found in many collegetowns in the mid-west. There is no branding or logo, and each location has its own unique and often poorly designed web site. My solution was to create a warm, friendly site, that is easy to navigate. I also created a logo which included a tea leaf to reflect the fact that the cafe offers much more than coffee. The site reflects the trend towards sustainability and low impact.
