Assignment was to create 3 ads to promote the G-Shock watch. G-Shock is a very tough watch, but the idea behind this campaign was to emphasize the cool and fun factors. I created an illustration in order to allow the viewer to put himself in the place of the surfer. The use of an illustration makes this ad stand out from the typical athete photo found in sports magazines.
